Overview
Dayara Bugyal is one of the most beautiful high-altitude meadows in the country located in the Gangotri range of the Himalayas in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Perched at an altitude of 3408 meters above sea level, this meadow has everything a trekker wishes for. Equally beautiful throughout the year, Dayara Bugyal covers an astonishing area of 28 km and is among the highest and largest meadows which attract hundreds of tourists and trekkers from all over the country. With magnificent views of the Himalayan peaks like Mt. Bandarpoonch, Kalanag, Jaonli, Srikanth, and the Gangotri group of Peaks. The hike to Dayara Bugyal starts from a small village called Raithal which is 30 km from Uttarkashi. The hike to Dayara Bugyal is 8 km and is of easy to medium grade. The trek trail passes through thick coniferous forests and then opens to a vast grassland i.e. Dayara Bugyal. This trek is accessible throughout the year and offers different views seasonally. It is also a perfect skiing location for skiing lovers in the months of January and February.

Tour Plan ( Itinerary )
Day 1 Reach at Dehradun, Boarding time; 6-7 Am
Drive 190 km from Dehradun to Raithal, Uttarkashi which takes about 7-8 hours. After reaching Raithal, be comfortable at in your rooms at the Guest house, Home stays on Sharing basis. There are many shops in the local market where you can buy or rent jackets, gloves, shoes, trekking equipment, etc. a quick introduction & briefing session with the trek leader and fellow trekkers. Dinner and rest during the stay.
Day 2 Raithal to Gui Camp site Trek distance 4km
Day 3 6km Hike to Dayara bugyal from the Gui campsite after breakfast,
Day 4 Descend from Gui to Raithal then drive back to Dehradun,
