Harshil Valley is a picturesque valley located in the Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district, known for its stunning natural beauty. It is located at an elevation of around 8,600 feet above sea level, making it a perfect destination for nature enthusiasts and trekkers. It is situated in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas; it is part of the larger Gangotri Valley. Harshil is also famous AS "Hidden Jewel of Uttarakhand". The weather in Harshil Valley varies significantly with the seasons. Summers are mild and pleasant, while winters are cold and snowy, makinng it popular destination for snow lovers.

Gartang Gali one of the most thrilling and unique tourist spot in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district, was opened to visitors and tourists in 2021 after 59 years. Located in the picturesque Nelong Valley near the Indo-China border, the 150-year-old Gartang Gali is a 136-m-long wood-lined stairway that is said to have been built by Peshawari Pathans, who created an architectural masterpiece by cutting the granite of a vertical rock face. This ancient trade route was traditionally used by merchants trading between India and Tibet. It was damaged over the years after it fell into disuse following the Indo-China war in 1962. A 136 meter long with 1.8-meter width wooden stairway perched at 11,000 feet. The around 2.5 km trek through dense forests leading to Gartang Gali is arduous but all the strain is washed away the moment you walk up the steps. This is open for tourists between 15 April to 15 November.

Gangotri Temple is a sacred Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Ganga, located in the town of Gangotri in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Situated in the Garhwal Himalayas, it marks the source of the holy Ganges River. The temple, built in the 18th century, is an architectural marvel with its white granite structure. Pilgrims visit to seek blessings and take part in religious rituals. The temple remains closed during the harsh winter months and reopens in late spring. The pilgrimage to Gangotri is an essential part of the Char Dham Yatra, a significant religious journey in Hinduism, attracting devotees and tourists alike. It is the highest temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga, is one of the four Chota Char Dham Yatra pilgrimage sites in Uttarakhand.
