Overview
Nag Tibba means Serpents Peak, is the highest peak in lower Himalayas of Garhwal
region near Mussoorie. It also gives a name to the Nag Tibba Range, which is one of
the three ranges of Lesser Himalayas, the other ranges are Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal.
It is one of the best weekend treks that can be commenced by the beginners as well
as experienced trekkers. A small temple is enshrined atop the hill, from where one
can have a panoramic view of the entire Banderpoonch ranges of the Great Indian
Himalayas towards the Yamunotri side.
Nag Tibba is a perfect place for camping during spring and summers and one of the
most suitable trek for winters, when most of the treks are closed due to heavy snow.
Due to its easy access, it is one of most popular weekend treks in India.
The whole trek route to Nag Tibba involves easy trekking that takes 5-6 hours to
complete. The trail takes one through enchanting lush green valleys, hushed hamlets,
and conifers and oak forests.
The lush greenery of Nag Tibba is irresistible in the monsoons. There is no better
experience than sipping on your cup of tea while gazing at the snow-capped peaks of
Nag Tibba while raindrops dance all around you. There could be landslides that result
in blocked roads for hours, but still the scenic beauty of Nag Tibba is worth all the
trouble. Remember to carry raincoats, of course!

Tour Plan ( Itinerary )
Day 1 Dehradun to Pantwari (105 kms/ 3-4 hours)
Report at Dehradun in the morning at 7:00 AM.

• Start Your drive to Pantwari village. Reach Pantwari village by 11-12 PM. Get
freshened up at Pantwari (Changing rooms and washrooms are available at
Pantwari to freshen-up)
• Have a light Lunch at Pantwari and start your 4kms trek towards Nag Tibba Base Camp.
• Upon arrival at Nag Tibba base camp, get served with hot tea and snacks followed by a lip-smacking dinner.
• Overnight stay in camps (We provide separate camps to every group).
Day 2 Base Camp to Nag Tibba Summit and Back.

Clothing and equipment to be carried during Nag Tibba trek includes:

- Warm Clothes (Lightweight Fleece Jackets and Thermals).
- Full Sleeve t-shirts and shirts.

- Water is usually limited, thus wasting it is not appreciated.
- Littering and disposing of garbage are strictly prohibited.
